Can I get access to Adobe software from off campus, or do I need to use a campus computer?

If you are a current UT Southwestern (UTSW) faculty or staff member, or a student, you are eligible for a license for the Adobe Creative Cloud through IR at a reduced annual cost of $250 per user license. All licenses expire at the start (September 1st) of each fiscal year and must be renewed for continued use. New purchase license cost will not become prorated.

To purchase an Adobe Creative Cloud Suite user license through IR, submit a request to the UTSW Service Desk by email. Include the following information for the person who will own the user license:

UTSW Username

Official Job Title

Chart of Accounts information

Include:

PS Oper Unit

Dept ID

Fund Type

Source

Function

Purpose

Person conducting business or undertaking (PCBU)

Once you have received a price quote from them, a special REQ is then submitted in PeopleSoft to have an order placed. Attach the price quote in line comments, along with the email address of the license key recipient. The end user will receive an email in three or four days with instructions to download software from Adobe. A perpetual version of Adobe Acrobat Professional can be purchased through the UT Austin Campus Computer Store. For availability and product details, email the sales team.
