Can I get access to the Library's resources after I graduate from or leave UT Southwestern?
The Library's licensing agreements with publishers do not permit remote access to the digital collections and resources to UTSW Alumni; remote access is limited to current UT Southwestern faculty, residents, fellows, postdoc, students, staff and hospital staff only.
UTSW Library is currently closed as part of Covid-19 related restrictions.
However, the Library is scheduled to open from May 1st, 2021.
From then on, UTSW alumni are welcome to visit the physical Library and access the Library's subscribed digital collection and resources from campus-authenticated workstations.
To access campus-authenticated workstations, alumni must schedule an appointment for a maximum of two (2) hours. Appointment requests will only be accepted from an UTSW Alumni email address. Appointments are limited to no more than two appointments on two consecutive days in a week.
